Zain Siddiqui, student at California University (PA) and transfer student from CCAC-Boyce Campus Monroeville, was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pa. A print journalism major with a major background in broadcast journalism has done time on Point Park University's radio station as a guest host located in Downtown Pittsburgh, Penn State Greater Allegheny's radio station, and Waynesburg University radio station. During his freshman year of college, he was a guest on Pittsburgh's radio station for kids located in Kids History Museum in Downtown Pittsburgh. Siddiqui, in high school announced Men and Women's basketball games for two years. During his senior year in high school and his freshman year in college, he announced a Washington(PA) Wild-Things baseball of the Frontier League. For two years in high school, Siddiqui was the Sports editor, writing about local high school matchups and national sport issues. Not only did he contribute heavily to sports, he also contributed to feature and news writing. Last year, he was published in the Cal Times for his piece on professional athletes as role models and a story of a man struggling with a gambling addiction. Siddiqui plans to graduate in the Summer of 2016
